Nicky lives an increasingly self-sustainable life on a small-holding in rural South Africa, while somehow securing enough internet capacity to write for Primal Survivor.
A stubborn anti-prepper for years, she’s now something of a born-again survivalist, having been converted by global disasters and her husband’s predisposition towards preparedness.
After spending her childhood, adolescence and most of her adulthood on horseback, Nicky still likes nothing better than some challenging terrain, a smooth trot, and a sense of adventure. Whether it’s hiking on the Wild Coast or riding in Lesotho, she’ll be there in a flash.
Having left England nearly 20 years ago, Nicky is now dedicated to life in Africa, especially if that means getting off-grid and on the prepper bandwagon
